Money cannot buy happiness, can it? Yes, it can. The result is: money can buy happiness, but it does not come cheap. Not only that, the amount of happiness your money can buy can be measured. This does run contrary to everything we have ever heard since childhood but the facts do not support it. That is why when you decide to purchase a rug at Ikea, be ready that your happiness would rather turn to be unhappiness and if you would decide to clean it at Empire Carpets, even your unhappiness can be ruined.
Quality of products. If you think that paying less is good in all cases, you will be very disappointed. Everybody should understand that cheap products at Ikea and Empire Carpets are cheap not without a reason. This is not charity, this is business. That means that low prices should be compensated and in the most cases the compensation is poor quality. That is why there are so many Ikea complaints, but actually they are groundless. If you pay several dollars for a rug, why do you expect it to be a Persian carpet? And there is a great possibility that it can be toxic or something because ecologically clean production is very expensive. If you are worried about your health and toxic elements, you should spent a bit more money.
Quality of service. Situation with service is the same. There is no need to repeat that customer service at Ikea is almost inexistent. When you are trying to solve some issues over the phone, there will be no end to run-arounds and wasting of your time. At Empire Carpets the situation is a bit different. The service there is provided by different companies that work with Empire. And the employees in those companies can be inapt or not speaking English. Thus, they can come to install your Ikea carpet and destroy all the remains of it. Thus, anyone who thinks money cannot buy happiness is either a master of self-deception or just does not know where to shop.
